As a practicing lawyer for so many years, you are beginning to notice your little boy's inclination to follow your example later in the same profession. Every time you bring him to a bookstore, seemingly a weekend habit now after you first introduced him into the world of books in the children's books section, he has began to learn asking the store clerk in attendance of the dark cherry bookcases of kiddy books displayed so many questions on this and that book. He is quite intense when he asks questions; you even wonder where the kid got his skill in doing so.

Sometimes the lady-clerk even complains to your wife that she feels she is undergoing the questioning of your kid as if she has done something wrong. The wife just discreetly pulls her aside and jokingly whispers to her to be careful in answering the tot's questions or else he will succeed in putting her behind bars. The wife continues the joke that your little boy is training to be a lawyer this early as the lawyer-father uses him when he practices asking his questions for the court trials he attends regularly in his profession.

The lady-clerk at the store gamely understands the situation, so she plays along with her role as "defendant" as the boy comes in the next time, again intently pursuing so many questions on the books in the children's section. You and your wife meanwhile just pretend to be looking over other books but discreetly listen with great amusement to the exchange between your kid and the woman.

Not long after though, you found yourself in the same predicament as the lady-clerk in the bookstore. When your kid asked you to buy two bookcase for kids for him so he can have a place to store his books, you asked why he wants two childrens bookcases instead of just one. The young lawyer-to-be threw back the question to you by asking why is it that you yourself have kids bookshelves for your books, so why you are limiting him to just one bookcase for his use.

You had a lively discussion with the kid, with you trying to say that you can only afford one bookcase at this time, and that you will buy him a second bookcase later when you have the money.
Your young “lawyer” however insists on his whim saying that you earn a lot of money anyway from your court trials, so why are you refusing to buy him two kid furniture now.

Your wife who was listening all throughout your debate with the young 'lawyer" sensed that the kid was about to cry, so she signals you to agree to the kid's demand.
